Steak Dirty Fry Burritos

My whole family loves a good burrito, and when I found this recipe that included steak, fries, and queso, I knew everyone would love it. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced strip steak
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 2 sliced bell peppers
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Pancho’s White Queso
  • Crinkle Cut Fries
  • Sour cream
  • Burrito size flour tortillas
  • Tapatio hot sauce

Instructions

  • Cook fries in the air fryer or an oven following directions on the package.
  • Add a tablespoon of olive oil to a skillet or griddle and cook the peppers and onions over medium high heat seasoning to taste with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Once the veggies have cooked down remove them from the pan or scoot them to the low heat side of the griddle.
  • Drizzle another tablespoon of olive oil onto the pan or griddle and cook the steak seasoning with steak seasoning.
  • Microwave white queso. Lay out a tortilla and top with sour cream, fries, peppers and onions, steak, and queso. Roll up the burrito and place it in a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Toast the burrito until golden brown in color. Serve with Tapatio hot sauce for dipping and enjoy!!

I change this slightly by taking out the onion and peppers, and using already-cooked steak. (It says "steak fajitas" on the bag) I added a little bit of white rice to make up for the couple of ingredients I took out. This makes it SO much easier and is still delicious. (And cheaper!) Anyway, it was a big hit. I will definitely make it again.
